ONE NIGHT STAND: BRIDESMAIDS

Posting this shoot on my blog has been on my to do list for about hmmmmmm 6 months now! Bloody scary how quickly this year has gone!

This shoot for One Night Stand Boutique was shot out at the breathtaking Kingsbrook Estate which is one of my favourite venues ever… especially to shoot in with its floor to celling windows and white washed walls, making for the absolute perfect light at any time of the day.

Natalia is a good friend of mine and she is the definition of a Girl Boss. I don’t think she sleeps and from what I saw on the day she has a shocking diet of sausage rolls and chocolate milk yet she still manages to run 2 stores (one of which is interstate) a website, AND look as god dam smokin’ as what she does! She has officially convinced me that sausage rolls and chocolate milk are the diet I need to be on.

These shots turned out beautifully but I really feel like I’m cheating when I am working with 3 gorgeous models, a make up artist who could even make my 31 year old pigmented skin look fresh and then of course the venue of all venues.

So if you are on the hunt for bridesmaid dresses or even just something for a glam night out suss out my girl Natalia at One Night Stand HERE

SOCIALLY SUBLIME

Its all in the details... and never have I appreciated that more than during this shoot with events planner Marisa from Socially Sublime. Marisa did not let one little thing go un-noticed... she had this shoot styled to the last detail, including the perfect amount of flame on each candle! I love working with people that are as passionate about their work as I am, it shows in the end result and makes my job a whooooole lot easier in post!

Marisa started her company at the beginning of the year after working in LA for a few years. One thing that stands out to me about her is that she isn't a trend follower, she has a timeless style that she puts a unique spin on for her clients so you can guarantee that you won't look back on your wedding album in 20 years and say "why the hell did I scatter so many geometric, copper candles holders everywhere!"
